the last few days have sort of blurred together, despite getting some pretty important stuff done. look at that sentence! "sort of," "pretty important," "stuff." damn. you guys read me because of my descriptive language, right? i thought so.
the baby shower invites are going out this afternoon. they're adorable.
today, i made contact with both the us department of education and the franchise tax board. the us dept. of ed. is sending me info. on automatic payments from my checking account, and i let them know i'm unemployed and receiving benefits, which gives me a little bit of slack in their eyes. the ca tax board wanted me to pay them on income i made in oregon in 2003, but i explained it to them and it turns out i filled out the wrong form? or oregon sent them my info. because of my ca residency. no matter, it has been figured out and i will be sending them a new form within a week.
housesitting at ann & jim's is going well. dom came over to watch a movie (spirited away) and bindy followed me all around the house. if it were not for her short body and hair, i would have thought she was lucy. she cuddled up with me on the couch and wanted to cuddle up on the bed, too. i said "go lie down" and she understood. bindy also went crazy when i was watering the plants at 11pm last night. was it just me, or was it freaking firey hot yesterday?!?
me? again, i thought so. i always call these things spot on!
dom made bleu cheese burgers and we had chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for dessert. don't call us health freaks. or, call us health freaks and be WRONG.
what else? just a couple weeks before mom's big party. and 13 days until her tattoo appointment. mom is going to be sitting in the chair, not able to move an inch, and i am going to take pictures. ben and kim, do you want to go with us?
